Terry Leung First Violins
Terry's mother was a music teacher, so it wasn't
entirely a surprise when he got a violin as a present when he was about 7, with lessons to follow. He somewhat lost interest in the instrument several years later when he found out that he was suppose to practice, and it
was no help either that he had discovered the guitar and Led Zepplin. Finding new use for the bow, he didn't pick up the violin again until 1994, when he began his "real" study under Margaret and Armand
Weisbord, two prominent retired violinists in Ottawa. Besides SSJ and terrorizing conductors in Kanata Symphony and Divertimento Orchestra with his high G, he can be seen driving to work in a local high tech firm.
